What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of the person visiting them and that are returned to the website on subsequent visits. Depending on their type, they serve to make the website work, to remember the user's choices or to measure how the website is used.

Technical cookies are necessary to provide the service requested by the user and do not require consent: the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR together with Article 122 of the Codice Privacy. Statistical cookies and the cookies set by the third-party content embedded in the pages are installed only if the user gives their consent: the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Technical cookies, active without consent:

• cthr_consent, first-party cookie on the cth-resilia.com domain, duration 6 months. It stores the choice made by the user about cookies, so that the request is not shown again on every page. It does not require consent because it stores only the user's own preference.

Statistical cookies, installed only after consent:

• _ga, Google Analytics 4 cookie on the .cth-resilia.com domain, duration 400 days. It assigns the device a random identifier that makes it possible to distinguish repeat visits. The duration of 400 days corresponds to the maximum limit applied by browsers and is renewed on each visit.
• _ga_73B3JWM2CR, Google Analytics 4 cookie on the .cth-resilia.com domain, duration 400 days. It stores the session state for the specific measurement property G-73B3JWM2CR.

Third-party cookies, set only after consent:

Some pages embed content hosted by third parties: YouTube videos and project websites framed within the page. This content is loaded only if the user has given consent. Where consent has been given, the content is loaded when the page opens; the video is loaded but not started, so playback begins only when the user chooses to start it. Without consent, and where consent has been refused, the embedded content is not loaded, the browser does not contact the domain hosting it, and no third-party cookie is set.

• Videos hosted on YouTube, requested from the youtube-nocookie.com domain. Once the player has loaded, YouTube may set its own cookies on the .youtube.com domain: __Secure-YNID and __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN were observed during testing, both related to the operation and security of the playback service.
• Project websites framed within the Consortium pages, hosted on the valuesafe-resilia.com and isabhel.nhazca.com domains. Once loaded, those websites may in turn set their own cookies or use storage technologies under the privacy notices of their respective operators, to which reference is made.

Local storage

The website does not use localStorage and does not use sessionStorage: no data is stored in the browser through these technologies.

Third-party domains contacted by the website

While the website is being viewed, the browser may connect to the following external services:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), for loading the typefaces used by the pages;
• Framer (publishing platform and framerusercontent.com domain), for the delivery of the pages and the images;
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com), contacted from the moment the page opens in order to load the measurement; until consent has been given the measurement stays in denied-consent mode, so it does not set or read the statistical cookies, which appear only after consent;
• YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com, youtube.com), for the videos embedded in the Casentino Tech Hub pages, in Italian and in English, only after consent;
• valuesafe-resilia.com, for the VALUESAFE project website framed in the Resilia Consortium pages, in Italian and in English, only after consent;
• isabhel.nhazca.com, for the ISABHEL project website framed in the Resilia Consortium page, only after consent.

The list covers the domains the browser contacts while the pages are being viewed. Links pointing to external websites, such as the social profiles in the footer, are followed only if the user opens them. Connecting to an external domain entails the transmission of the IP address of the device, which is necessary for any communication over the Internet.

How to give, refuse, withdraw or change consent

On the first visit a banner appears that makes it possible to accept, to refuse or to open the preferences panel. The consent requested covers statistical cookies and the third-party content embedded in the pages. Until a choice is made, and where consent has been refused, statistical cookies are not installed and third-party content is not loaded.

The choice may be changed at any time:

• from the Cookie preferences panel, which can be opened from the link in the footer of every page. From there statistical cookies and third-party content are enabled or disabled together and the new choice takes effect immediately; if consent is withdrawn, the Google Analytics cookies already present are removed and third-party content is no longer loaded, although a page already being viewed may need to be reloaded to remove content that has already loaded;
• from the browser settings, which make it possible to block or delete the cookies already installed. The instructions can be found in the documentation of the browser used: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge.

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal. Blocking all cookies from the browser settings may prevent some parts of the website from working correctly, including the storage of the choice made about cookies.

How long data is retained

• Record of the choice made about cookies: 6 months.
• Statistical data collected through Google Analytics: 14 months.
• Cookies set by embedded third-party content, once it has been loaded: the durations are determined by the respective providers and are stated in their privacy notices.

Transfers outside the European Union

The Google Analytics service is provided by Google Ireland Ltd., whose registered office is in the European Union; data may be transferred to the United States to Google LLC on the basis of the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission on 10 July 2023 concerning the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and additionally on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. The platform with which the website is built and hosted is provided by Framer B.V., whose registered office is in the Netherlands.

No profiling

The cookies used by this website do not serve to profile users, do not feed advertising activities and are not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. The statistics are used exclusively in aggregate form.

Rights of the data subject and complaint

Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR it is possible to request access to your personal data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of processing and its portability, as well as to object to the processing; the consent given may be withdrawn at any time.
